HCSC defended their Cambridgeshire Light Blue County Cup title on Saturday with a win against Bedford Towers!
In a repeat of last year’s final, HCSC took the win 3/2 with wins from Rob, Jason and a man of the match winning performance from Colin. There were also valiant efforts from Sofia and Jonny, who lost in close five setters.
Earlier in the day, the HCSC ladies team narrowly lost out to winners Cambridge University in the semi-final. A valiant effort from the whole team saw the ladies lose 3/2 with great performances all round.
It was great to have so much home support at the the club cheering the teams on and there were some high-quality matches throughout the day.
