SPORTS THERAPY

The Sports Academy can provide a comprehensive range of support services covering both remedial and preventative therapies.

Our onsite therapists are trained in either Sports Massage, Cupping, Acupuncture, or Sports Taping.

TREATMENT OPTIONS

Sports Massage

Designed to relieve acute and chronic muscular pain and joint immobility.

Sports massage is available for anyone suffering from a sports injury or muscular ailment, or as a preventative treatment. It combines massage, neuromuscular techniques, and stretching methods.

Cupping

Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This can relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It can also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue. People use cupping to complement their care for a host of ailments and conditions.

Cupping is good for treating…

  • Back pain
  • Neck and shoulder pain
  • Knee and leg injuries
  • Sporting injuries
  • Work-related pain

Acupuncture

Designed to treat conditions or injuries that affect the bones, joints, and muscles, such as sports injuries and arthritis. It is often used to assist rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery.
