Our first-ever ‘HCSC Team Challenge Tournament’ was held on Saturday 14th March. Teams battled it out in three’s. Each fixture consisting of one team playing another with a squash singles match, racquetball match, and squash doubles match. Each match consisted of two games to fifteen points (sudden death at fourteen-all) and after all three disciplines were played, the total scores were calculated. The team with the most overall points after the three matches won the fixture, meaning that every point played was valuable.
There were some brilliant matches played in fantastic spirits and the overall winners were the club’s own Jonny Williams, Sean Brodrick and Chris Reeve!
It proved to be a very enjoyable and inclusive format and we hope to grow on this event next year and get even more members involved!
