It was a huge week of junior squash over the half-term holidays with the return of the October tour, squash camp and Cambs juniors competing at the English Championships! The junior tour kicked off Monday 25th with matches at HCSC before a trip up to Leeds to play at Chapel Allerton Squash Club that evening. Tuesday and Wednesday saw the guys take on opponents from Lincoln and Grantham, before returning home. There were some fantastic matches and it was a great few days!
Thursday and Friday were also action packed, with squash camps both days. It was great to again have plenty of new faces trying out squash for the first time, as well as the regular juniors. There were lots of games, team competitions and Halloween inspired challenges. The standard of the little ones continues to improve and there’s definitely some to watch out for in the future! Finally, a few of the juniors who train at the club and their Cambridgeshire teammates were up in Nottingham over the weekend to compete in the English Championships.
