We’ve had lots of junior activity in January at Hunts County Squash Club!
On Sunday 18th, we held an England Squash Satellite Competition, featuring U11, U13, U15 and U17 events. It was great to see lots of players from Cambridgeshire and across the region compete. Congratulations to all those who took part, and especially to the winners. Well done to Samuel and Mumin for coming second in their categories, and Henry, Michella and Diego for winning theirs!
We then hosted the first of this year’s Cambridgeshire junior county activity on Friday 20th, with a friendly team competition. Youngsters from clubs across the county were split into three teams, who all played against each other and then the total amount of points won was calculated. After the match, they were treated to a meal and some prizes were awarded to the winners!
A huge thank you for everyone who attended or helped out with both events. It’s great to see junior squash in Cambridgeshire being so active and there are plenty more activities to look forward to in 2023.
