An action packed Sunday morning of squash at HCSC with the Cambridgeshire junior development matches taking place this weekend!
We trialled a new format with juniors divided into teams and playing 6 min 30 secs “all points count” matches against their opposite numbers in the other teams. There were 30 juniors split into 6 teams, meaning that each player got to play 5 matches.
After a total of 75 matches and 2448 points played across the 3hrs, the winning team were the red team with 445 points!
Those going on our summer squash tour to Ireland were on hand selling refreshments freshly baked cakes to keep everyone energised throughout.
Thanks to everyone who took part, helped out and supported the event. The next Cambridgeshire development matches will be at Ely Squash Club on Sunday 16th April.
