The first day of the tournament!
Well rested despite a busy day yesterday the juniors are nervous but excited to get going!

Narrowly lost out taking the 3rd game 10-12 against the number 3 seed from Germany!

Solid win for Rupert against his American Doppler-Ganger and potentially tricky opponent.
Sammy won 3/1
After a comfortable first game, ended up as a bit of a battle but Sammy did well to regroup and win!

Immaculate performance against a strong American opponent

Tough first match against the top seed. Got into it more and adjusted to the pace as the match progresses

Shaky start but got stuck in and had a good battle with the 4th seed.

Nervy start against a strong Spaniard but found his range and will take confidence into this afternoon’s match.

Battle well to take the first on a tie-break, before convincingly taking the next two!
